「字母會」作為一次促使臺灣文學與西方思想進行深入交流的文學計畫，無
疑十分適合作為探討外來理論與在地文學之關係的切入點。胡淑雯在「字母會」
系列的26 篇小說中，花費大量筆墨描寫各式角色身體（body）之間的碰撞，及
其所產生的各式情狀（affections）與倫理議題，以回應德勒茲的諸多概念。故而
本文提出，胡淑雯在通過26 篇小說展演德勒茲倫理學思想的同時，也進一步詮
釋出了自身獨特的倫理學理解。一方面，小說中那些恐懼反抗而墜入被動情狀
（passive affections）的懦弱角色，盡皆迎來悲劇與痛苦的結局。另一方面，那
些勇於動用起主動力（active force）的強悍角色，則無一不擺脫被動狀態，進入
到舒適的主動情狀（active affections）中。同時，在胡淑雯筆下「道德律」不再
是重要的，那些能夠增強「行動力」的選擇與條件，才真正與「幸福」相關。總
的來說，正因為胡淑雯的小說強化、突顯了德勒茲倫理學的某些面向與概念，才
使得我們有機會從文本中攫取出略顯不同面貌的倫理學詮釋。

The “ABC of Literature” serves as a signifi cant literary project that fosters indepth
exchanges between Taiwanese literature and Western thought, making it an
ideal starting point for exploring the relationship between foreign theories and local
literary practices. In the series of 26 stories comprising the “ABC of Literature”,
Hu Shu-Wen dedicates substantial eff ort to depicting the collisions between various
characters’ bodies and the resulting aff ections and ethical dilemmas, thereby engaging
with numerous concepts from Gilles Deleuze. This paper argues that while Hu Shu-
Wen employs these stories to enact Deleuzian ethics, she simultaneously offers her
unique interpretation of ethical thought. On one hand, the narratives feature timid
characters who succumb to passive aff ections due to their fear of resistance, ultimately
meeting tragic and painful fates. On the other hand, resilient characters who actively
harness their forces transition from passivity to active aff ections, attaining a state of
comfort and empowerment. Notably, in Hu’s works, the “moral law” loses its central
significance; instead, choices and conditions that enhance one’s capacity for action

are more closely tied to the attainment of happiness. In summary, by intensifying
and highlighting specific aspects of Deleuzian ethics, Hu Shu-Wen’s stories offer a
nuanced ethical interpretation, allowing readers to extract a distinct perspective on
ethics from her literary text.
